Campaign Terms and Conditions

Our G.E.M (Going the Extra Mile) Awards celebrate our NHS Professionals Bank Members and Doctors Direct colleagues who go above and beyond. By submitting a nomination, the nominator is agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Nominations will only be accepted for those that have met the award criteria within 2026 and fall into the following categories:

• NHSP Bank Members who have a My:Bank profile
• Doctors Direct doctors who have a NHSP:Connect profile
• Bank Members completing the HCSWD programme or doctors completing any Gateway for Doctors programme

1. Nominations for the awards will open at 9am on Friday 30^th October 2026 close on Sunday 6^th December 2026 at 23:59 GMT. Judging will take place between the 20 January 2027 – 28^th January 2027.
2. Winners will be announced to the relevant onsite NHS Professionals or Doctors Direct team on 8^th February 2027, and, in this message, we will ask for the team to confirm if they would like us to send the prize directly to the Bank Member using the address on their My:Bank profile, or to the Trust to present in person. NHS Professionals will not be liable for any loss of delivery.
3. It is the responsibility of the Bank Member or Doctors Direct colleague to ensure their contact details, including email address and postal address, are up to date on their My:Bank or NHSP:Connect profile. 
4. Prizes will be dispatched and awarded before 6^th March 2027.
5. When a nomination is submitted, details of the nomination may be published, including the first name, Trust name and nomination. 
6. Non-NHS Professionals Bank Members, Non-Doctors Direct colleagues, incomplete, self-nominations and nominations of less than 5 words will be excluded from the campaign and from any final list submitted to the judges. 
7. A Digital G.E.M certificate will be sent via email to all valid nominees to tell them they were nominated for the G.E.M Awards. 
8. We have the right to share your name with the onsite Trust team if they ask who nominated the winner at their Trust. These details will not be published online unless you agreed to this when completing the nomination form. 
9. There will be up to 1 main winner per participating Client Trust. Each winner will receive a £100 Amazon e-voucher, Cadbury’s chocolate selection gift box, G.E.M Award winner pin badge, winner's lanyard and certificate to celebrate their achievement over the past year. 
10. Cadbury’s chocolate selection gift boxes will contain: 1  x Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Bar 110g, Cadbury Double Deck Selection box 524.5g which includes full size bars: 1 x Cadbury Dairy Milk  Chocolate Bar 110g, 1 x Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Bar 45g, 1x Cadbury Dairy Milk with Caramel Chocolate Bar 45g, 1 x Cadbury Dairy Milk with Fruit & Nut Chocolate Bar 49g, 1 x Cadbury Crunchie Chocolate Bar 40g, 1 x Cadbury Twirl Chocolate Bar 43g, 1 x Cadbury Flake Chocolate Bar 32g, 1 x Cadbury Curly Wurly Chocolate Bar 21.5g, 1 x Cadbury Wispa Chocolate Bar 36g, 1 x Cadbury Boost Chocolate Bar 48.5g, 1 x Cadbury Double Decker Chocolate Bar 54.5g.
11. NHS Professionals has the right to disqualify any nomination not made in accordance with these terms and conditions. There is no prize or cash alternative and no element of the prize is transferable.
12. If the product or any of the items are not available at the time of ordering, NHS Professionals reserve the right to replace with a similar product of equal or greater value.

To celebrate Healthcare Support Worker Day on 23rd November 2026, NHS Professionals is inviting Healthcare Support Workers to tell us: “What inspired you to become a Healthcare Support Worker?” for the chance to win one of 15 x £10 Costa Coffee e-vouchers.

1. To enter the free prize draw, eligible entrants must complete the Healthcare Support Worker Day survey and answer the question: “What inspired you to become a Healthcare Support Worker?”
2. Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm on Sunday 15th November 2026. Entries received after this deadline will not be accepted.
3. This giveaway is open to Healthcare Support Workers who are NHS Professionals Bank Members.
4. Only one entry per person is permitted.
5. Fifteen winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

10. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. If the advertised prize becomes unavailable, NHS Professionals reserves the right to replace it with an alternative of equal or greater value.
11. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that their contact details are complete, accurate and up to date.
12. NHS Professionals may highlight selected survey responses on its social media channels on Healthcare Support Worker Day where permission was given during the survey.

Or the prizes will be delivery directly to the postal or email address listed on Staff Bank or the email listed on the entry form.

The Bank Member of the Month Award acknowledges the excellent contribution that Bank Members make to their local Trust and the wider NHS. 

Each month, eligible Bank Members who have received a nomination regarding their performance, via our new form, will receive a certificate from NHS Professionals to thank them for their hard work. Nominations can be submitted by a manager, colleague, or patients within the Trust. 

The NHS Professionals Marketing Team will review all nominations submitted and will send out a certificate to all eligible nominees.

The top nominee from each Trust, as selected by NHSP, will then receive a certificate and pin badge. The top nominations will then be reviewed and the NHSP Marketing team will pick an overall winner.

Seven overall winners will go on to receive a £100 Love2Shop Voucher, thank you card, certificate, and pin badge.

1. This Bank Member of the MonthAward is applicable to all NHS Professionals staff groups. 
2. To be in with a chance of winning a Bank Member of the MonthAward, Bank Members must have received a nomination from a manager, colleague, or patient from within their Trust via the nomination form. The cut-off date to be included is the last day of the month. 
3. Seven overall winners will be selected per month. Each winner will be selected on the second Tuesday of the monthby the NHSP Marketing Team. The seven overall winners will receive a £100 Love2Shop digital voucher, thank you card, certificate, and pin badge. 
4. The NHS Professionals Marketing Team will select one top winner per Trust who will receive a certificate and pin badge.
5. Every eligible Bank Member that receives a nomination will receive a certificate
6. The winner will be notified by the email listed on their My:Bank profile. The winners have the right to opt out of the Bank Member of the MonthAward emails by informing NHS Professionals by email at: communications@nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk. 
7. Our Bank Member of the MonthAward will run from the first Day of the Month to the last day of the month between 1^st February 2026 to 31^st October 2026. 
8. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
9. Self-nominations will be removed from the award before judging.
10. It is the responsibility of the Bank Member to update their contact details ensuring the correct email and postal address is on their My:Bank.
11. We may pass the nominator, nominees and quote details onto our client trust teams for further analysis and promotion in Trust.NHS Professionals reserve the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Bank Member of The Month Award draw/rules without notice and for any reason.
