The Department of Cellular Pathology is a busy UKAS accredited department that supports many multidisciplinary teams for cancer specialists including breast, colorectal, lung, urology, gynaecology, head and neck and haematology.
Candidates should have a wide range of experience and an interest in reporting histopathology non gynae cytology. Sub specialisation is in place and the successful applicant will be expected to develop sub-specialty interests within branches of histopathology to complement those of the existing consultants. An interest in head and neck pathology, uropathology and dermatopathology. Possession of the CHAT examination and coronial autopsy experience is highly desirable.
