Endoscopy Consultant

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a consultant to work with us at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust in Endocrinology and Diabetes.

We are looking for a doctor dedicated to, and passionate about, improving health and well-being within the East Kent community.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine disorders such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, osteoporosis, metabolic bone diseases, lipid disorders, and other hormonal imbalances.
  • Providing specialized care for patients with chronic conditions like Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including the management of complications and associated conditions.
  • Interpreting results from a variety of tests such as blood glucose monitoring, hormone level testing, thyroid function tests, DEXA scans, and others relevant to endocrinology.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans which may include medication management, lifestyle advice, insulin therapy, and other interventions.
  • Providing consultative services to other physicians or healthcare professionals and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.

  • Speciality: Endocrinology and Diabetes
  • Location: East Kent
  • Shift patterns: 08:00-20:00 Mon-Fri on-going, part-time hours also available.
  • Hours per week: 20-50 hours available
  • Start date: ASAP- no end date, this is ongoing the client will accept short-term contracts
  • Rates: £100-£120ph
  • Payment method: PAYE We do NOT facilitate payment through LTD/umbrella companies
