G.E.M Awards: Celebrating our incredible winners!

We are pleased to announce some of our winners for the 2024 G.E.M (Going the Extra Mile) Awards.

Gemma (pictured below), a Nursing and Midwifery Bank Member from Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust was described as a true role model who leads by example. She was nominated for her support to the Better Lives initiative, which aims to improve partnership working and patient discharge and flow.

Suzanne (pictured below), an AHP Bank Member from Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, was nominated for her incredible contribution to the Maternity operating theatre. She was described as always going above and beyond for patients and staff, earning special recognition from the infection control team for improving patient outcomes for post operative caesarean sections.

Brett (pictured below), an Estates and Facilities Bank Member from Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Trust, was nominated for his unwavering commitment to the Trust. His ‘positive approach, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently make him a trusted and highly valued member of the team’
