We are excited to launch a programme exploring potential roles across the health and social care system that might be suitable for people like you, who stepped forward to offer their support during the pandemic. To do this, we need to learn a little bit more about you, how you would like to help, and the skills and experience you can offer.

Before you provide us with more information and suggest what you might be interested in doing, we urge you to spend a little time learning more about jobs and careers in the NHS. These resources will help you to determine where your skills could be utilized and the type of opportunities that are available – particularly if you are looking for an enduring career in healthcare.
We also understand that some people may simply want to continue to give their support to the vaccination programme and other key pandemic-related initiatives. You can also select those opportunities through the questionnaire.

The next step involves a short questionnaire about you, your current circumstances and the type of work that you are interested in.
Opportunities that you might wish to explore include permanent roles in the NHS (both clinical and non-clinical) and the ability to undertake shifts on an adhoc or placement basis to fit around other work or family commitments.
Once you have selected a pathway, you will be placed into an appropriate staffing pool and matched to opportunities in line with demand and your skills and experience.
If you are matched to an appropriate role, we will contact you to discuss further or point you in the direction of the application process for that role.
We will be working with NHS employers over the next couple of months to match people to roles. If there are no relevant opportunities identified for you then we will let you know when the programme closes.
