Consultant Oncology

Doctors Direct have a new and exciting opportunity for a number of Consultants to work with us at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in Oncology.

We are looking for a dedicated doctors ready to work in a Trust striving to make patient experiences better than ever.

You will specialise in diagnosing, treating and preventing gynaecological cancer. You will provide women with medical and surgical treatments for ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal and other cancers of the female reproductive organs.  You will look for tumours in a person’s reproductive organs and determine if the disease has spread.

Our trust is looking for a Consultant Clinical Oncologist, with an interest in breast and gynaecology. Clinics and on call.

 

Job plan:

  • 3x clinics per week
  • Radiotherapy Planning
  • 1:10 on calls
  • Attendance to MDT’s
  • Associated Admin

 

Details about the role:

  • Speciality: Oncology
  • Location: Worcestershire
  • Shift patterns: 9:00-17:00 Mon-Fri on-going, part-time hours also available
  • Hours per week: 20-40 hours available
  • Start date: ASAP- no end date, this is on-going, the client will accept short term contracts
  • Rate of pay per hour: £100-£120 depending on experience

  • Valid GMC
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clinical attachment complete
  • Minimum of 3 months paid experience in the NHS/UK
