International Day of the Midwife 2026
We have loved seeing photos from Trust teams hosting events on the day, meeting our Midwife Bank Members, and handing out goodies.
As part of the celebrations, we recognised the Midwives who worked the most hours over the last six months, with 12 top workers receiving Cartwright and Butler Brew and Biscuit Hampers. A Bank Member of the Month Award winner was also among those recognised, with their Trust team presenting them with a hamper to thank them for their incredible contribution.
We are currently finalising the winners of our competition and will be in touch with Trust teams shortly so they can begin presenting hampers to their winners. Thank you to all our NHS Professionals Midwives for everything you do to support your patients, Trusts and the NHS - we are so grateful for your dedication every day.
