The G.E.M (Going the Extra Mile) Awards celebrates and rewards individuals for their contributions to our NHS.
The G.E.M Awards will continue to focus on significant contribution for innovation, improving the quality of care and supporting health, wellbeing, and staff morale, across all staff groups.
One winner from each of our partner Trusts will be chosen by our expert judging panel.
Opening date: Monday 30th October 2026 at 9am
Closing date: Friday 6th December 2026 at midnight
Judging will take place between 20th January 2027 – 28th January 2027
Winners will be announced by 15th February 2027
Winners will receive a £100 Amazon e-voucher, a Cadbury's chocolate box, a G.E.M Award Winner pin badge, a winners lanyard and a certificate.
Nominees will receive a digital certificate.
