NHS Professionals scoops two recruitment awards

The NHS Professionals team had a sense of history repeating itself (Wednesday Sep 27th) when they were given the same two prestigious awards they previously scooped in 2021.

Judges at the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) awards ceremony again found NHS Professionals best in category for two industry accolades.

The awards won were Recruitment Company of the Year, over £250m turnover and also the ‘Managed Service Provider – MSP - of the Year’.

The APSCo Awards recognises the commitment and effort that organisations put in for their end user clients and candidates.

Members of the team, including company CEO, Nicola McQueen, were called on to the stage in London to receive both awards.

The panel of experts said it was ‘very apparent that authenticity, passion, and positivity runs throughout this organisation’.

They added they were inspired by the ‘enthusiasm and brave decision making’ of the NHS Professionals team, and specifically around managing cultural change, as well as noting the organisation’s ‘…extremely impressive synergy, values and authenticity.’

They said: ‘It (NHSP) converted the adversity of 2020/1 into strengths in 2022 and as a result is a far more confident, decisive, and tech-enabled business’.

The extremely impressive synergy, values and authenticity of the representatives were also noted.

Attending alongside Nicola McQueen, were Mike Ruddle Chief Commercial Officer, Karla Boddy, Chief Customer Officer, and Jon Waters, Business Development and Client Solutions Director.

Speaking after the wins, Nicola McQueen, said:

“To win both these awards for the second time in three years is amazing and testament to all the hard work that everyone at NHS Professionals puts in each day.

“Both the Recruitment Company of the Year and MSP of the Year awards demonstrates the high-quality service we all strive to provide, as we continue to support patient care and our NHS.

“I am looking forward to us continuing to deliver that service in 2024 and beyond.”
