Celebrating Children's Nurses Day 2026

On 30th June 2026, we celebrated National Children's Nurses Day, recognising the incredible nurses who make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families, every single day.

As a token of appreciation, some of our NHSP teams visited their local children's wards, handing out chocolates to both patients and staff, as well as colouring books for young patients, helping to spread a little joy while recognising the incredible work of Children's Nurses.

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the positive impact Children's Nurses have on the patients and families they support, often during some of their most challenging moments.
