Celebrating World Social Workers Day

Celebrating World Social Workers Day

On Tuesday 2nd March we celebrated World Social Work Day. This day is dedicated to recognising the remarkable contribution that our Social Workers make to the NHS.

Over the past year, NHS Professionals Social Workers have collectively dedicated over 74,896 hours to supporting patients, families, and teams across our services.

Social Workers play a crucial role in the NHS, helping people navigate complex and often vulnerable moments, ensure safe and timely discharges, protect those at risk, support families and carers, and bring a holistic perspective that strengthens every part of the NHS.

Thank you to all our Social Workers. We celebrate you and the impact you have on the lives of those across our NHS Trusts.
