Your EDI Information Matters

To ensure NHS Professionals can effectively support its workforce and promote fairness, we need a clear understanding of the demographics of our Bank Members. We therefore ask that you take a few minutes to review and complete your EDI information online via ESR. You will have the option to select “Prefer not to say,” and even this response provides valuable insight to help us improve our services.

How do I update my EDI information?

    Update your Personal information including: 

What is ESR? 
ESR is the NHS’s Electronic Staff Record system. NHS organisations can use the ESR platform for many different things. At NHS Professionals, ESR is used to store and manage the following information for NHSP Bank Members: 

  • Payslips, P60s and P45s 
  • Personal Information (address, phone, email) 
  • Contacts (next of kin) 
  • Sexual Orientation 
  • Religious Belief 
  • Socio-economic Background 
  • Disability Information 

Bank Members can update their information via the ESR portal.
