National Living Wage update from 1st April 2026

From the 1st April 2026, the NLW will be £12.71 per hour. Where applicable, pay rates will be adjusted in line with the updated NLW requirements. Bank Members whose pay is already above the NLW rate will not be impacted by this change.

The Government announced/published the NLW rates on 26th November 2025. - What date is the NLW 2026 effective from?
The NLW rate uplift is effective from 1st April 2026. - What is the NLW from 1st April 2026?
The NLW as of 1st April 2026 is £12.71 per hour. - Who is impacted?
Any worker whose hourly rate is currently below £12.71 per hour. - When will this rate be visible in staff bank for shifts rates that I am booking?
The new rates are being loaded into Staff Bank and will be visible for all shifts booked from 1st April 2026. If shifts from 1st April 2026 are booked before the table is live, shifts will show at the old rate but will be paid correctly. - I have been paid below the NLW what I should do?
