Doctors Direct: Connecting with Doctors, Supporting the Workforce

Our recent in Trust events gave us a fantastic opportunity for the Doctors Direct team to connect with junior doctors and Trust teams at both South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and George Eliot Hospital.

At South London and Maudsley, Trust Service Partner Hayley Cornwell hosted a Doctors Direct desk at the junior doctors’ induction day, introducing new doctors to the service and highlighting the benefits of joining the Doctors Direct Bank.

At George Eliot Hospital, Regional Managing Consultant Rachel Brennan and Trust Service Partner Micheala Aston attended the junior doctors’ rotation, where they introduced doctors to Doctors Direct and connected with rota coordinators and Trust teams. The branded merchandise proved a real hit, with notebooks and pens popular at South London and Maudsley, while fans and water bottles were particularly well received at George Eliot Hospital during the heatwave.

Both events were a great success, providing valuable opportunities to build relationships, strengthen connections with Trust teams and showcase how Doctors Direct can support doctors and the wider workforce.
