Working Shifts at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Before you work your first shift at Doncaster and Bassetlaw, please read the information below which will help ensure your first shift goes smoothly.

Network Account (IT Access)

All clinical roles will need a Trust Network Account to access electronic patient records and prescribing.

To get a Trust Network Account please:

  1. Click here to download a System Access Request form
  2. Email the completed form to DoncasterCRT@NHSProfessionals.nhs.uk

Training and clinical system access

WellSky Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration System (EPMA)

Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospital (DBTH) is not currently offering face to face training for Well-Sky. Instead, All nurses need to:

  1. Click the relevant link below (role dependant) which will take you to Microsoft Forms
  2. Complete full name, email (use NHS email address if you have one) and job title and click NEXT at the bottom of the page
  3. Watch the training video on the next page, click confirm once you have watched the video and then click submit
  4. Complete a Network Access form (click here to download) and send the completed form to DoncasterCRT@nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk

Note: If you are a prescriber then you must watch the videos on BOTH links.

It is possible to access the videos on a mobile device, but they are better viewed on a device with a larger screen such as a laptop or tablet as some of the images shown may be hard to see on a small screen.

Blood Glucose Monitoring

All Care Support Workers will need training on using Blood Glucose Machines. On your first shift, speak to the Link Nurse on the ward who can arrange training and a barcode to use the machines.
