We’re in this together

NHS Professionals has launched the Covid-19 Rapid Response service to enable registered and unregistered healthcare workers who may or may not be currently working in the NHS and who want to help in the battle against the current pandemic, to move quickly and safely to the frontline.

If you want to work in the NHS to help reduce pressures, one of the simplest and most straightforward routes in is through the NHS Professionals staff bank. Whether you are already working permanently at one of our clients Trusts, a final year student nurse or new to NHSP, we have a role for you.

Registered Roles:

Ambulance Practitioners
Biomedical Scientists
Community Psychiatric Nurses
Nursing Associates
Occupational Therapists
Registered Nurses
Theatre Practitioners

As part of the Rapid Response service, we are now also able to welcome Final Year Student Nurses to join the NHS at this time. You must have an active or temporary registration with the associated professional body to work in any registered role

Unregistered Roles

We are also pleased to be a be able to welcome the following categories and staffing groups to the NHS at this time via our Rapid Response route:

  • Care Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant
  • Domestic / Cleaner
  • Office Services

Experience in non-clinical roles does not have to be in a healthcare setting, as long as it is relevant to the position. If you want to support the NHS, but do not have experience in one of the roles above, we still really value your skills, dedication and commitment. Unfortunately, we don’t have the resources to accept your application at this time, but you can still apply to support the NHS as an NHS Volunteer, click here: https://www.goodsamapp.org/NHS>

Whatever your skills or experience, now is the time that the NHS needs your support, more than ever.
