Royal Berkshire and Berkshire Healthcare attend Reading Job Fair - October 2023

On Friday 20th October, some of Royal Berkshire’s local team, Sophie, myself and Chelsea Blake, a special guest from Berkshire Healthcare attended a job fair at Reading Town Hall. With around 700 accepted invitations, it’s safe to say a lot of conversations were had with interested and eager members of the public.

We had a lot of interest in our Healthcare Support Worker roles, followed closely our Admin and Clerical roles. Chelsea was great in providing information about Berkshire Healthcare’s Healthcare program to those who were keen to work towards a qualification.

The Job Fair was great in their organisation with a tea, coffee and biscuit corner and attentive members of staff. The table size was great, we were able to fit all of our merchandise and Halloween chocolate. We had a brief moment to walk around the other stalls and there was such a variety, it was all so colourful. There were stalls for travel opportunities, apprenticeships and even a couple agency stalls too.

Overall, it was a successful event with a great turn out, we certainly enjoyed being a part of it.
