October 2021 incentive - £400

Terms & conditions:

  • All N&M codes Bands 2-7 will be eligible, excluding RN59 and NTL08 which benefit from an alternative enhanced rate of pay.
  • Eligible shifts must be worked on a ward or clinical area (shifts at both Vaccine hubs will not be included in the incentive).
  • Bank Only must work 12 shifts between 1st October to 31st October to qualify for the October payment.
  • Multi-Post Holders (Substantive) must work 6 shifts between 1st October to 31st October to qualify for the September payment.
  • Incentive payments can be paid multiple times, for example, if double the number of shifts detailed above are worked in the qualifying month, you would receive a payment of £800 (pre-tax).
  • Eligible shifts run from Sunday night through to, and including, the Friday night shift.
  • Shifts worked from Saturday early through to and including Sunday Late will not count towards the incentive payment.
  • Eligible shifts must be a minimum of 5 hours 29 minutes.
  • Rostered shift times must not be manipulated to enable qualification for the incentive i.e. night shifts should not be split.
  • Shifts with the following start and end times will count as 2 shifts – 06:00-20:00, 07:00-20:00, 07:30-20:00, 08:00-20:00.
  • Bank shifts worked within 48 hours of absence will not qualify for the incentive.
  • Only shifts worked at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust will qualify however colleagues from Livewell and Northern Devon working bank shifts at UHP will qualify under the bank share agreement.
  • Please note T&C's for the October incentive have been extended to include Saturday shifts worked from 9th October onwards.

New wards that joined UHP on the 1st of July will also be included in the October incentive:

  • Mount Gould Local Care Centre – Kingfisher Ward and Skylark Ward
  • Ernstell House – Wembury Ward
  • South Hams Hospital – South Hams Ward
  • Tavistock Hospital – Tavistock Ward and Tavistock Day Case Theatres
  • Shifts worked in October must be released by 14/11/2021 for payment on 26/11/2021.
