£200 Nursing Incentive

We are pleased to announce that University Hospitals Plymouth have confirmed the £200 nursing incentive will be available in July! To receive the incentive please see Terms & Conditions and link to our website below.

Terms & Conditions

  • All N&M codes Bands 2-5 and Band 6 Midwives, excluding RN59 which benefits from an alternative enhanced rate of pay.
  • Excluding shifts at both Vaccine hubs will not be included in the incentive.
  • July qualification
    • Multi post holders (Substantive staff) must work 6 shifts between 1st July to 31st July to qualify for the July payment.
    • Bank Only Workers must work 12 shifts between 1st July to 31st July to qualify for the July payment.
  • August qualification
    • Multi post holders (Substantive staff) must work 6 shifts between 1st August to 31st August to qualify for the August payment.
    • Bank Only must work 12 shifts between 1st August to 31st August to qualify for the August payment.
  • Incentive payment can be paid multiple times, for example if double the number of shifts detailed above are worked in the qualifying month, you would receive a payment of £400 (pre-tax).
  • Eligible shifts run from Monday early through to, and including, the Friday night shift.
  • Shifts worked from Saturday early through to, and including Sunday Night will not count towards the incentive payment.
  • Eligible shifts must be a minimum of 5 hours 29 minutes.
  • Rostered shift times must not be manipulated to enable qualification for the incentive i.e. night shifts should not be split.
  • The new wards joining UHP on the 1st July will also be included in the July incentive, new wards included are below;
  • Mount Gould Local Care Centre – Kingfisher Ward and Skylark Ward
  • Mount Gould – Wembury Ward
  • South Hams Hospital – South Hams Ward
  • Tavistock Hospital – Tavistock Ward and Tavistock Day Case Theatres
  • Only shifts worked at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust will qualify however colleagues from Livewell and NDHT working bank shifts at UHP will qualify under the bank share agreement.
  • Shift releases
    • Shifts worked in July must be released by 08/08/2021 for payment on 20/08/2021.
    • Shifts worked in August must be released by 12/09/2021 for payment on 24/09/2021.

Registered NHSP workers can now work at Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust

Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust has now been added to the existing Bankshare between Livewell Southwest & University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust.

Which staff groups are included?

Bankshare is applicable to all staff groups.
