To continue recognising the contribution our NHSP workforce makes to SHFT, the Pounds for Professionals incentive scheme is being extended from 1st January 2024 to 31st March 2024, with one single payment made to you in April 2024.
The previous Pounds for Professionals incentive (details below) remains unchanged and qualifying payments under this incentive will be made on 19th January 2024.
Please see below for terms and conditions:
1. You must be signed up on the Bank and available to work prior to 31st December 2023, and you must have worked at least one shift at Southern Health in a qualifying role since 1st May 2023.
2. The incentive will run from 1st January to 31st March 2024.
3. All shifts must be on the system, authorised and released before the cut-off date of 14th April 2024 otherwise will not be eligible.
4. You will accrue £1 for each hour worked, with one consolidated bonus payment made to you on 26th April 2024.
5. You will continue to be paid BAU for all shifts worked until the bonus payment date.
6. You cannot qualify for multiple incentives in the same time period.
7. Incentive applies to specific codes only.
8. Excludes Admin & Clerical, and Estates & Ancillary/Support Services Staff.
9. SHFT reserve the right to terminate the incentive without notice.

Pounds for Professionals Incentive (September to December 2023)
To continue recognising the contribution our NHSP workforce makes to SHFT, as from the 1 September 2023, the Trust is introducing new incentives referred to as ‘Pounds for Professionals’ scheme that has been designed to reward you for each hour you work through NHSP with one single payment made to you in January 2024.
Please see below for terms and conditions:
1. You must be signed up on the Bank and available to work prior to 1st September 2023, and you must have worked at least one shift at Southern Health in a qualifying role since 1st May 2023.
2. The incentive will run from 1st September to 31st December 2023.
3. All shifts must be on the system, authorised and released before the cut-off date of 7th January 2024 otherwise will not be eligible.
4. You will accrue £1 for each hour worked, with one consolidated bonus payment made to you on 19th January 2024.
5. You will continue to be paid BAU for all shifts worked until the bonus payment date.
6. You cannot qualify for multiple incentives in the same time period.
