Bank worker of the month - September

Staff Bank in partnership with NHS Professionals would like to recognise the following worker:

                                                             Amy Taylor

For the excellent Feedback we have received

“I am writing with reference to NHSP HCA Amy Herron-TAYLOR I worked with her on Saturday 7th September. It was so amazing as she was totally reliable and thinking ahead in every way. She was always putting the needs of the patients first and able to escalate quickly any concerns. she was instantly aware of the needs of a complex patient we had with dementia and was supportive to all staff and patients where needed. She was able to work across the ward and provide help where it was needed as we had two patients needing 1:1 but we did not have the staff for it. I could tell how reliable and efficient she was with an attention for detail. She was friendly to both patients and staff on an unfamiliar busy ward. I feel this should be acknowledged as I work with many NHSP HCA’s but Amy was truly amazing.  I feel we are often quick to criticise but need to give credit too. well done Amy a pleasure to work with you.”

Well done Amy, truly displaying the characteristics of an NHS worker:

  • Goodwill
  • Kindness
  • Laughter
  • Generosity
  • Compassion

I met with Amy to thank her and asked her:
