Nurse Pool Ward

Our Nurse pool ward operates on an allocation-on-arrival basis.

For all shifts booked on the Nurse pool ward, you will need to report to the ITU Office ahead of every shift - on the First Floor of Warrington Hospital. The Night Manager will be there to allocate you to a ward.

Things to remember:

• Please arrive earlier than your shift start time so you can be allocated in a timely manner.
• You may be asked to work over in our Halton site.
• You may be asked to work within A&E and ITU (if you are a general nurse, you will be supporting these areas in your general capacity).
• You must be Fit Tested! To arrange testing email the team: WHH@nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk

After each shift, please email WHH@nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk to confirm where your shift was worked so we can modify your shift on the system.
