£200 incentive for Registered Nurses & Care Support Workers

We are delighted to announce that an incentive will be running for RN00, CSW00 & CSWH00 shifts worked through NHSP at University Hospitals Plymouth.

NOVEMBER Terms & Conditions:

  • Band 2-5 N&M codes will be eligible excluding Critical Care & Theatres.
  • Multi post holders (Substantive staff) must work 6 shifts between 1st and 30th November.
  • Bank only contract holders need to work a minimum of 12 shifts between 1st and 30th November.
  • Incentive payment can be paid multiple times, for example if double the number of shifts detailed above are worked, you would receive a payment of £400 (pre-tax).
  • Eligible shifts run from Monday early through to, and including, the Friday night shift.
  • Shifts worked from Saturday early through to, and including Sunday Night will not count towards the incentive payment.
  • Eligible shifts must be a minimum of 5 hours 29 minutes.
  • Rostered shift times must not be manipulated to enable qualification for the incentive i.e. night shifts should not be split.
  • Only shifts worked at University Hospitals Plymouth NHST Trust will qualify.
  • All shifts MUST be released by 06/12/2020 to qualify.
  • £200* pre-tax incentive will be paid on 18/12/2020.

December/January Terms & Conditions:

  • All N&M codes Bands 1-5, excluding RN59 which benefits from an alternative enhanced rate of pay.
  • Multi post holders (Substantive staff) must work 6 shifts between 1st and 31st December to qualify for the December payment.
  • Multi post holders (Substantive staff) must work 6 shifts between 1st and 31st January to qualify for the January payment.
  • Bank only contract holders need to work a minimum of 12 shifts between 1st and 31st December to qualify for the December payment.
  • Bank only contract holders need to work a minimum of 12 shifts between 1st and 31st January to qualify for the January payment.

  • Only shifts worked at University Hospitals Plymouth NHST Trust will qualify however colleagues from Livewell and NDHT working bank shifts at UHP will qualify under the bank share agreement.
  • Shifts worked in December must be released by 10/01/2021 for payment on 22/01/2021.
  • Shifts worked in January must be released by 07/02/2021 for payment on 19/02/2021.
