Bank members who regularly works inpatient shifts at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust will be familiar with the Trust’s Engagement & Observation Policy.
To ensure the quality of the service and safeguard the delivery of a consistently high standard of care to service users, the Trust will be capturing competency of appropriate skills in Engagement & Observation of service users, which will require assessment and sign off by a Trust Registered Nurse. The Nursing Verification Competence form can be found on page 22 of the Trust Engagement & Observation Policy.
Assessment & successful completion is a mandatory requirement for any bank member working at the Trust in all inpatient areas.
