Being a Security Officer initially, Osaretin made a life-changing/defining career move to become a Health Care Scientist. Such a change was encouraged, as Osaretin wanted to provide supportive care to those in need. Why do you love working for the NHS?

I love working for NHS because of the care they provide, as someone full of compassion for others I am very delighted when the opportunity arises to care for people with difficulty. This is one way I can contribute my goodwill to the society and help better the life of people.


How does flexible working make a difference to your life?

Flexible working has make a difference because it as help me to be able to attend to other needs of my family and at the same time work, also It will provide me the opportunity to study for a career job in nursing and become professional so that I can be able to provide more care and contribute to the demand facing the NHS.


What has been your proudest moment working for the NHS?

My proudest moment is, I feel fulfilled being able to provide care to people, most especially when the care I provide can alleviate patient of their pains and difficulty and make them fill comfortable, I am so proud when patient get back to me to say because of your help I feel better.


Tell us about your past. Have you always lived in the UK? Did you always want to work in healthcare?

I have been in the UK for close to 12 years, I started working as a security officer, but due to my affection in providing health care, I decided to apply for NHS job where my desire in helping people with difficulty can be achieve.


Tell us about your life outside of the hospital.

My hobbies are gym, reading, listening to Christian music and swimming.
