Specialist Registrar - Immunology


We have an exciting opportunity for a SpR to work with us at Oxford University NHS Foundation Trust in their Clinical Immunology clinic.

We are looking for a dedicated doctor ready to work in a world-renowned centre of clinical excellence.

This Role is a 10-month placement opportunity within the Immunology department. This role would be predominantly based in John Radcliffe Hospital with the opportunity to work shifts across the Trusts’ other sites and any of our partner Trusts.



Doctors Direct recruit to the highest of NHS standards and all applicants for this role should meet pre-screening requirements before applying.

You will be involved in the laboratory and will be responsible for interpretation and authorisation of laboratory results.  This includes liaison with clinical staff, both by telephone and in the wards.  Ward referrals will be seen by the LAS or SpR of the week, as will all phone enquiries and bleep enquiries in office hours.

  • Full GMC licence to practice
  •  Right to work in the UK
  • Completed clinical attachment
  • Minimum of 3 months experience in the UK within the last 2 years

About the Role:

  • Location: Oxford, OX3
  • Start date: ASAP – to December 2022
  • Shift pattern: Monday-Friday,8:00-16:00 (trust will accept candidates 3-4 days per week)
  • Pay rate: £50-£70 per hour
  • Accommodation: Yes, available at discounted rates but you are responsible for reserving your own room
