Associate Specialist - Care of the Elderly

We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Specialist to work with us at Hertfordshire Community Trust within Care of the Elderly.
We are looking for a dedicated doctor ready to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust delivers community health services to more than a million people in Broxbourne, Hertsmere, St Albans, Stevenage and the surrounding areas. This role would be predominantly based in at The Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital with the opportunity to work extra shifts across the Trusts’ other sites and any of our partner Trusts.
The Trusts services range from school nursing and children’s health visiting through to diabetes and rehabilitation services, as well as a children’s specialist community services in West Essex. They pride themselves on providing care where it’s needed, whether that’s in people’s homes, children’s centres, local health centres or community hospitals. Wherever it operates, the Trust has built services with a reputation for quality and excellence – and its team has made that happen. Every one of its 3,000 staff are dedicated to maintaining and improving the health and wellbeing of the community.
Requirements
Doctors Direct recruit to the highest of NHS standards and all applicants for this role should meet pre-screening requirements before applying.
- Full GMC licence to practice
- Minimum of 6 months experience in and NHS Trust within the last 2 years
