Terms and Conditions

  • Applicable to all shifts worked under these N&M codes RM66, CSWH66, and CSW66 excluding any areas/departments that benefit from an alternative enhanced rate of pay.
  • Clinical staff who hold an honorary contract with the Trust who are registered with the bank will be eligible and treated as bank-only workers.
  • Multi post holders (Substantive staff) must work 6 shifts between 25th July and 25th September to qualify for payment. Minimum shift time 7.5hrs
  • Bank only and Bank Exclusive contract holders need to work a minimum of 12 shifts between 25th July and 25th September to qualify for payment. Minimum shift time 7.5hrs
  • Eligible shifts must be a minimum of 7.5 hours.
  • Rostered shift times must not be manipulated to enable qualification for the incentive i.e.night shifts should not be split into two.
  • Only shifts worked at a University Hospitals Southampton NHS Trust site will qualify 
  • Eligible shifts must be worked in a ward or clinical area (shifts at Vaccine hubs will not be included in the incentive).
  • All shift patterns will be included with the exception;- Bank Holiday’s or Shifts starting after 8 pm on a Saturday night and Sunday shifts ending before 8 pm will not be included. Shifts starting at 8 pm on Sunday will be included in the incentive.
  • All shifts must be authorised and released by 2nd Oct 2022 to qualify.
  • Bonus payment will be made on 10th Oct 2022.
