New Opportunities: Flexi Pool and Lister Pool

Thank you for your continued support with working shifts at East and north herts through NHS Professionals, your hard work and compassion helps your trust to continue delivering high-quality patient care.

We are pleased to inform you that an exciting opportunity has arisen at Lister hospital. We are now introducing two new pools; Lister Pool and Flexi Pool.

Both pools are aimed to suit your flexibility as well as to support the trust with safer staffing. Flexi pool offers flexible shift times to suit General Registered nurses and Care support workers. Lister Pool offers Normal shift times that are used to support escalation areas.

 

Flexi Pool NEW

Bank Pool of RN and CSW shifts that offer:

  • Normal pay rates
  • Flexible shift times to suit our bank workers
  • If unable to work the shift times available, bank workers can liaise with the NHSP office 03330144365 opt 2 and 4 to book flexible shift times in.
  • Minimum of 3 hour shifts in the pool, 4 hour shift if advanced booked into a ward
  • Deployed at time of arrival, reports to the site office to be allocated.
  • In the New Year we will be working on offering advanced bookings into areas of choice that have shifts available.
  • Applied codes:CSW00 and RN00

 

Lister Pool NEW

Bank and Agency Pool:

  • Normal shift times that are used to book bank RNs and CSWs to support escalation areas.
  • Deployed at time of arrival, reports to the site office to be allocated.
  • Applied codes:CSW00 band 2 and RN00 band 5

 

Rapid Response

Bank pool of RN and CSW shifts that offer:

 

  • Enhanced pay rates in recognition that staff are deployed at the start of their shift to support high risk staffing areas
  • Variety of shift times are available to offer a flexible option to increase bank fill with staff not able to work a full shift
  • Opportunity for staff to increase skills and knowledge
  • Controlled amount of shifts put out to support Safe staffing
  • If booking into these shifts they should not be cancelled by the worker as they support our high risk shifts.
  • Strict Cancellation policy in place
