We are seeking highly motivated and committed Pharmacy Assistant with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills to join our bank.


The Trust has a variety of Pharmacy Assistant roles - within Ward Based services, Stores, Dispensary and Aseptics - which support the delivery of good pharmaceutical care to patients within the Trust, through the provision of a safe and efficient service. 

The Ward based services will involve a rotation through all the specialities within the ward based service, including Paediatrics, Adults, Medicine, Surgery, Renal and Cardiology specialties.


In the role of Pharmacy Assistant, we will be encouraging you to work as an autonomous practitioner, with our client group to help maintain and support their long-term clinical needs.

You will be working as a Band 2Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for the planning and management of your own caseload, service delivery using an impact-based model of clinical decision making, actively contributing to service development and providing supervision and support to junior staff members.
