Welcome to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Staff Bank

Caring is a part of your DNA

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (CRHFT) is PROUD TO CARE; not only for their patients and visitors, but also for their 4,000+ staff. Nestled in the heart of Derbyshire, Chesterfield is a market town famed for its Crooked Spire.

As North Derbyshire's only acute district general hospital, with 24 hour Emergency Department services, they're responsible for providing care and treatment to more than 400,000 people who live in their communities.

With a number of dedicated wards for Medical and Emergency and Surgical Services as well as the Nightingale Paediatric ward, their passion for quality of care is second to none, and in fact is a Trust rated ‘Good’ overall and ‘Excellent’ for End of Life Care by the CQC.

"In a nutshell working for NHSP at CRHFT gives me the flexibility to balance my work/home life.

I can choose what days and where I want to work to fit in with my family, holidays and time off. I enjoy the opportunity to work in different areas, enhancing my skills and experience.

Developing friendships around the Trust I find invaluable for the support during challenging shifts and the social benefits of the less challenging shifts."

Who are NHS Professionals?

NHS Professionals (NHSP), owned by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), works in partnership with hospital trusts to provide a bank of highly skilled temporary workers who want to work flexibly within the NHS. Working through the NHSP bank means Trusts don’t have to rely on expensive agencies. Right now, we have over 126,000 members registered on our bank from various roles, grades and specialities, saving the NHS over £70 million each year.
