NHSP CEO is honoured in the SIA Global Power 150 Women in Staffing list for a third consecutive year

Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has announced the Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list for 2019.

NHS Professionals’ CEO, Nicola McQueen has been honoured in this year’s annual list, which recognises the female leaders and influencers in the Global Talent marketplace.

Comprising the Americas 100 and the International 50, the Global Power 150 list is not a ranking but a way to shine a spotlight on women in leadership positions and to recognise their significant contributions and unique vision to move the industry forward.

“The women named to this year’s Global Power 150 list play an important role in bringing value to the workforce solutions ecosystem, elevating not only the bottom line for their organisations but lifting up their teams through a passionate focus on employee development and creation of positive and inclusive cultures in which talent thrives,” said Subadhra Sriram, Editor & Publisher, Media Products at SIA.

As we celebrate this year’s honourees for their achievements in taking the industry forward, we also continue to be inspired by women across companies big and small bringing benefit to business and society, and share in the desire to see more women with a seat at the table.

Nicola McQueen said “I am thrilled to be featured in the SIA Global Power 150 — Women in Staffing List. I am incredibly passionate about addressing the challenges for women in the workplace to achieve their potential. I have spent the past 20 years supporting workforce strategies in various organisations that ensure gender is not a barrier to success.”

Before working with NHSP, Nicola has worked in both the public and private sectors. She was recognised for her leadership by being named Executive of the Year at the Women in Business Awards in 2016. The same year Nicola was appointed as executive director of the Capita Workplace Services division as well as leading a management buyout of Capita’s specialist recruitment businesses, forming Affinity Workforce. This is the third year she has been recognised within the Global Power 150 Women in Staffing awards.
