Consultant Emergency Medicine

We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant to work with us at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust in Emergency Medicine.

We are looking for a doctor dedicated to, and passionate about, improving health and wellbeing within the East and North Hertfordshire Hospital.

 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Maintenance of high-quality patient care
  • Active participation in continuing medical education
  • Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service and participation in strategic planning
  • Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
  • Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity

 

Details about the roles:

  • Speciality: Emergency Medicine
  • Location: East and North Hertfordshire Trust
  • Shift patterns: 08:00-20:00 Mon-Fri on-going, part-time hours also available.
  • Hours per week: 20-50 hours available
  • Start date: ASAP- no end date, this is on-going the client will accept short term contracts
  • Rates: £125 -£175 per hour

 

This is a great opportunity to join Doctors Direct, which enables you to work in multiple emergency medicine departments across the country full/part time and be paid great rates of pay. Doctors Direct recruit to the highest of NHS standards and all candidates applying for this role must have the following:

  • Valid GMC
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clinical attachment complete and minimum of 3 months paid experience in the NHS/UK

 

About the Trust:

East operates in five hospitals and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust works several community clinics across hospital sites, providing a full range of services, including Ashford, Canterbury, Folkstone and the surrounding areas. The Trust’s specialist care in urology, renal medicine, cancer, plastic surgery, kidney disease and ophthalmology. Hertfordshire has vascular services are also open to the best of both worlds, surrounded by beautiful countryside but wider community. This role would be predominantly based in XX with good road and rail links to both London and Cambridge, as well as comprehensive bus services the opportunity to work extra shifts across the main towns, including to and from all the Trust sites Trusts’ other sites and any of our partner Trusts.
