Consultant Elderly Care specialist

 

We have a unique opportunity for a Consultant to work with us at West Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust on their Consultant in Elderly Care specialist team.

 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Maintenance of high-quality patient centred care
  • Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service and participation in strategic planning
  • Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
  • Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity
  • Active participation in continuing medical education
  • A broad range of experience in Elderly and general medicine. In particular:
  • Experience in complex care and discharge planning
  • Fully competent in a broad range of medical issues in older and general medical patients

 

Details about the roles:

  • Speciality: Elderly Medicine
  • Location: Hertfordshire
  • Shift patterns: 8:30-16:30 Mon-Fri on-going, weekends/part-time hours also available
  • Hours per week: 20-50 hours available
  • Start date: ASAP- no end date, this is ongoing the client will accept short term contracts
  • Rates: £100-£125
