Renewing your DBS

As part of our ongoing vetting checks, we require an annual renewal of our Bank Members’ DBS to ensure we maintain the highest level of patient safety in our partner Trusts.

There are 2 routes for renewing your DBS depending on whether you are on the update service or not. Click the option that applies to you below to find out what you need to do.

Route A: I am a member of the DBS Update Service

What is the Update Service? It is an online annual subscription service which costs £13 per year that lets you keep your DBS certificate up-to-date.

Route B: I am not a member of the DBS Update Service

 

What will happen if I do not renew my DBS?

If you do not renew your DBS prior to its expiry, you will be temporarily stopped from booking any future shifts until you complete the necessary actions to enable us to finalise the renewal.
