Quick Substantive Reactivation

NHS Professionals has found a means of reactivating Trust staff who have been deactivated from its bank, in the last 6 months. The new guide and easy reactivation process is our response to the HMRC rule regarding employers having to issue a P45 to all flexible workers who have not worked for a sustained period of 13 weeks.
Reactivation is a short 3 step process that begins with completion of the attached form. Click here to access the form and start your reactivation.
1/. Complete the form.
2/. Arrange a meeting with your local Trust Liaison Coordinator and take along your last payslip, passport photograph and eligibility to work documents.
3/. Within 48 hours, you’re ready to view and book additional hours available at your Trust.

Substantive Registration

If you are looking to work some additional hours as a substantively employed worker at your Trust, then we have an easy 3 step process that will allow you to do this through NHS Professionals. Once you have completed the simple registration process you will be able to book shifts via NHSP:Online within 72 hours.
We have information packs for the following staff groups: Nursing and Midwifery; A&C & Support and AHP & HCS. Please click on the relevant staff group for further information and to obtain the registration form.

Adding An Assignment Code For Nursing and Midwifery

Adding and maintaing the correct assignment codes on your profile, is an important part of ensuring that you receive notification of all shifts available and suitably matched to your experience.

Requests to add, amend or upgrade assignment codes on your profile can be completed using the appropriate forms listed below. Before additional codes can be added there may be occasions when NHS Professionals will need to re-validate some of the information we currently hold on your file to ensure your details are up to date. You are also required to provide a clinical reference from your manager, confirming you have 6 months experience or have worked 48 shifts under the code requested before the code can be added.

If you are a Bank Only worker, please first read the following FAQs which explain who can add codes to their profile and how to go about adding these new codes. Click here >> for this important additional information on adding an assignment code/s to your profile.
