NHS Professionals has attained the Cyber Essential PLUS Accreditation. This is a government backed certification scheme for all public sector organisations and suppliers. It is also a mandatory accreditation for NHS Professionals to provide our services through the new CCS workforce management framework.
Although the CCS framework only requires the standard self-assessed Cyber Essentials (Stage 1), NHS Professionals has successfully attained Cyber Essentials PLUS (Stage 2) status, passing the additional vulnerability tests performed by an external certifying body. Stage 2 requires organisations to have a series of technical assessments conducted, by an external certifying body, against their infrastructure. These technical assessments include internal vulnerability assessments against servers and a sample of workstations to demonstrate robustness and effectiveness of security systems.
